Business Battle Starting with the 2024 National Fall Leadership Conference, the National FBLA will offer online objective knowledge tests for competition purposes. This added fall programming of competitions is similar to the Business Battle program operated by a consortium of states. As of August 2024, Business Battle has been retired as a program operated by a consortium of FBLA states. We encourage members and advisers interested in Business Battle or fall competitions to check out the National Fall Leadership Conference at www.fbla.org/nflc

National Leadership Conference June 29 -July 2, 2025 Anaheim, CA The National Leadership Conference (NLC) is held during the summer months in a selected city in the United States. Iowa's top place competitive event winners with a counterpart national event are eligible to compete at the NLC. All Iowa members and advisers are eligible to attend, based on local and state guidelines. In addition to competitive events, the NLC consists of tours, business meetings, special interest sessions, seminars, workshops, awards programs, election and installation of national officers, and other planned educational/leadership development activities. For example, at a state university, Information Technology Services Department is requesting that each employee place the university MDM app on personal phones. The university is implementing a new policy that every employee adds the MDM app, then if the university Information Technology Services Department notices any questionable hacking, penetration, etc., they can then wipe the employees personally owned mobile device, regardless of if they use the personal device for any company/organization purpose.

Collegiate National Leadership Conference May 31 - June 2, 2025 2025 Location - Dallas, TX The National Leadership Conference (NLC) is held during the summer months in a selected city in the United States. All Iowa members and advisers are eligible to attend, based on local and state guidelines. DO NOT register with National FBLA for the 2025 National Leadership Conference. Iowa FBLA will review and verify your chapter’s regitration on your behalf and complete your registration. This service is included in the $25 state registration fee.
