Sameer Ansari - President
Sameer Ansari is your 2016-2017 State President. He is a senior at Clinton High School in Clinton, Iowa. He currently holds the office of president in his local chapter. Outside of FBLA he is involved in many school activities such as NHS, Student Council, Robotics, Iowa Youth Congress, varsity tennis, and is currently serving as Senior Class President. In his free time he enjoys defending his title as the Best Ping Pong Player in Clinton, Iowa. Sameer is fired up and ready to serve as your state officer and hopes he can leave a Legacy of Leadership for future generations!
Riley Hubbart - Vice President
Riley Hubbart is your 2016-2017 State Vice President. She is a senior at Clinton High School. On the local level, she is her chapter's vice president. Outside of FBLA she is the student body president, the president of her school's National Honors Society chapter, a member of varsity tennis, Iowa Youth Congress, literature club, and yearbook. Riley enjoys volunteering in her community, specifically at local children's museums, and spending time with friends and family. She is honored to serve as your state Vice President and looks forward to a great year in Iowa FBLA!
Laurel Keenan - Secretary
Laurel Keenan is your 2016-2017 Iowa FBLA Secretary. She is a junior at Waukon High School in Waukon, Iowa. Outside of FBLA Laurel also participates in cross country, track, speech, and coaches youth soccer and swim team. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, and volunteering for other organizations in her community. Laurel looks forward to serving you this year, and can't wait for another great year in Iowa FBLA!
Jonathan Wisner - Treasurer
Jonathan Wisner is your 2016-2017 Iowa FBLA State Treasurer. On the local level, he is serving his third consecutive year as a chapter officer, this year as State Liaison at Linn-Mar High School in Marion. Jonathan is also very involved in a multitude of other activities, including Key Club, in which he serves as the Nebraska-Iowa District Governor, his school's Symphony Orchestra, Student Ambassadors, SODA, TRY and Lean on Me. Jonathan loves meeting new people, spending time with friends, and serving the community. He is ecstatic to serve you for another year as a state officer and can't wait to celebrate a "Legacy of Leadership"!
Cassie Williams - Reporter
Cassie Williams is your 2016-2017 Iowa FBLA State Reporter. Cassie is a senior at North Linn High School, where she holds the office of local chapter President. Along with FBLA, she is involved in other activities such as FCA, FCCLA, Student Council, NHS, Robotics, Cross Country, Track, Band, and Speech. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, playing the piano, and riding bikes. Cassie is looking forward to the upcoming year of Iowa FBLA and can't wait to build great new relationships with other FBLA members!
Josh Bolen - Parliamentarian
Josh Bolen is your 2016-2017 Iowa state FBLA Parliamentarian. Josh is a Junior at Clinton High School, where he is his local FBLA chapter's Communication Director. Outside of FBLA, Josh is involved in Student Council, SADD, RSVP, FCA, varsity swimming, Iowa Youth Congress, track, and serves as Student Body VP. He loves spending time in the community helping with a variety of events, and also enjoys spending time with his friends. Josh is looking forward to making another great year of memories and hoping to leave a legacy of leadership.
